Hey Aaron. How's the heat over there in Fresno? We might have hit 100 here at the house. Thanks for dropping by and thanks for your comments. I think I understand where you're coming from, and I do appreciate your frankness. I appreciate straight talk. Of course I'm not a Christian, or anything else, so far as faith is concerned. I'm not sure that I ever was, and I don't know whether I ever could. Still, there are profound spiritual truths expressed in the Bible, but I don't know how anybody can know Jesus as a fact. My neighbor says that some people are believers and some aren't. Maybe he's got a point.

There sure are a lot of things to believe in. Which one is the right one? Some would say that all of them are. I have a question for that. does this allow one to pick and choose with religions? I don't know If I can say this best.
For example. Jesus was a wise teacher, and a prophet, but he also claimed to be God. He said, "I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the father but through me." John 14:6-7 Jesus never gives the option of any other way to get to God. It is not good to pick and choose what to believe about Jesus Christ. it is all or nothing. I know that sounds harsh or perhaps to some people blind and narrow. The bible should be read as whole not verses out of context. I know anther place in Mathew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’ Some times I get fired up inside and speak my thoughts but these are not things I have made up, they are not wishful thinking. I mean not to be rude but truthful in love.
I guess also I want to see what other say about Jesus. Is he one of the wise prophets in history or is he the final revelation?
